I'm very proud that Trav signed up for the Patriot Guard. It's sad that we'll be spending Saturday at a funeral, and that it takes a bunch of strangers to keep anit-war idiots away from a family when they're in mourning.

Don't like the war? Fine. Protest until you fall from exhaustion, but crap on a cracker -- not at a funeral.

Disagree with the war in Iraq. NOT the primary target country.

Totally support what you're doing Trav

100% what Jumper said.

Are there really protestors at FUNERALS? How slimy. They hurt their cause when they pull stunts like that. Oh wait, they get publicity from this sort of thing. Bastards.

Good on you, trav.

The Patriot Guard sounds like a good service, but are those protestor links some kind of joke? We all know Rev. Phelps ain't no librul! Gotta believe Phelps will have a few things to say to you leather boys in chaps! But hey, if you can control Phelps & Co., more power to you!

Asshole extraordinaire. Wait, I take that back. Calling him an asshole is an insult to assholes everywhere.

Rev. Phelps is lower than a dictostylium (slime-mold).

Okay, I can believe that Rev. Phelps' followers would do this. Are there really any SANE people that do this?

BTW, BBM is playing in Rev. Phelps' hometown. I'm glad I won't have to cross THOSE picket lines to see the flick this weekend.

Hey, Sexy, want to go with me? I can reserve one ticket or two. Let me know. Make all the others in line guess.

I'm buying. I will buy you popcorn, or a drink - or two or three.

I agree that Phelps is lower than pond scum and that his followers are probably drinking the special Kool Aid.
Their politics and beliefs aren't the point of the Patriot Guard, though.

These are funerals, and the families and friends of the decesased should be able to mourn in peace.
